The Hotel Golf Natura is located next to the Port del Comte ski resort, located in the Vall de Lord, in the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees.

Activities around the Hotel Golf Natura

Port del Comte has a wide range of sports activities to practice and experience in the middle of nature. The most popular are:

  • Ski and Snowboard: The Port del Comte ski resort is designed for all types of skiers and all types of difficulties. 
  • Snow rackets: Routes through the mountains with snowshoes.
  • Scooter and dog sled: In winter there are outings through nature on dog sleds. While in summer or spring, excursions are made on a mountain skate, also pulled by dogs.
  • Adventure circuit: A forest acrobatic park ideal for having a good time. Move from tree to tree on mobile swings, walkways, zip lines, monkey bridges, nets, etc. All this at heights of between 4 and 12 meters.
  • Tubbys and Snake Gliss: It is a giant mountain slide of more than 150 meters. You go up with the help of a conveyor belt and, later, you go down it on giant floats. In the same area, we can also find trampolines.
  • Paragliding: In Port del Comte it is possible to fly in two-seater or tandem paragliders, taking off from Cap del Querol and landing in Sant Llorenç de Morunys, with a drop of approximately 1,250 meters.
  • Hiking and mountain bike routes: There is a wide variety of routes and trails that can be explored both on foot and by mountain bike. You can go along one of the 9 signposted routes or choose to visit other places such as Forat de la Bòfia or Prat de Bassies.
  • Climbing: Climbing is very popular in the mountainous area of Port del Comte. A clear example is the well-known ascent of Pedraforca. You can also go caving in one of the natural underground caves in the area.

Port del Comte Ski Resort

It has 37 slopes of different slopes, with a total of 7 green slopes, 11 blue, 13 red, 7 black and 1 cross-country circuit. 50 km of ski slope divided into 2 different areas and with 15 lifts:

  • The “Hotel Port 1730” area, which has most of the most affordable ski slopes for skiing or snowboarding, or sledding at the Port del Comte Station. As well as all the necessary services such as equipment rental, restaurant/cafeteria, medical center, etc. 
  • The “Estivella” area, which has the most difficult slopes and a spectacular atmosphere of isolation in the middle of nature.

What to visit in Solsona?

It is the capital of the Solsonès region. This municipality of more than 9,000 inhabitants is praised, both by tourists and locals, for its tranquility and its historical and cultural wealth. There are many places and architectural elements that Solsona offers us, the most notable and unmissable being: The cathedral, the main square, the Llovera palace, the tower of the hours, the episcopal palace, etc. Without a doubt, a wide range of possibilities to discover local and ancient history and culture.

 

What to see in Les fonts del cardener

The birthplace of the Cardener River. Today it has been transformed into a cozy picnic space, prepared for the enjoyment of families and friends. Furthermore, during the thaw season, you can see how multiple jets of water sprout from between the rocks, sometimes creating a waterfall.

What to visit in “La Coma i la Pedra” and Port del Comte

La Coma i la Pedra is a municipality in Solsonès surrounded by large forests and green landscapes. It has a population of approximately 255 inhabitants and is divided into 3 parts: La Coma, La Pedra and the Port del Comte urbanization.

In addition, it offers all its visitors an interesting tourist experience. On the one hand, we can enjoy the history and local culture by visiting one of its many Romanesque churches, and on the other we can enjoy sports activities offered by the Port del Comte Station. 

What to see in Sant Llorenç de Morunys

At the foot of the Port mountain range we find Sant Llorenç de Morunys, a small town of around 960 inhabitants. The picturesque town still preserves part of its medieval structure, which is why it is visited by tourists throughout the year. You cannot leave it without stopping by the Santuari de Lord, the Llosa del Cavall reservoir and its Romanesque church.
